Since version 1.5.2, NeoSSHWinManager supports FTP, FTPS and SFTP directly – with a built-in file browser for all three protocols. For SSH/SFTP hosts, the SSHFS drive mount is also available: the server appears as a Windows drive instead of copying files back and forth one by one. That makes NeoSSHWinManager a complete WinSCP alternative – for classic FTP/FTPS/SFTP transfers just as much as for mounting a server permanently as a drive.

Plain FTP transfers credentials and files unencrypted. NeoSSHWinManager still supports it for legacy servers, but recommends FTPS or SFTP wherever possible – both run encrypted.
For SSH/SFTP hosts you mount the server directly as a Windows drive via SSHFS – you work like on a local disk, with no more download-edit-upload cycle.
Yes, natively since version 1.5.2: FTP, FTPS (explicit and implicit TLS) and SFTP are all selectable protocols in the connection profile, including passive mode and optional certificate verification.
FTPS and SFTP always run encrypted (TLS or SSH respectively). Plain FTP stays unencrypted and is only suitable for legacy servers without TLS support.
